No one made it to day 2 last year so having 5 people playing at BGSU was awesome.  At first singles, Emma was doing very well vs. Springfield and then was stung by a bee and lost a bunch of games in a row. She came in 4th and earned 4 points for the team.  Annsley Mann and Kat Barricklow were not feeling their game this day and were shocked by NV 1st doubles after beating them twice this season. They came in 4th and earned 4 points for the team.  The team of Abby Kim and Sophie Rees split sets and must of strung out the match so Sophie's parents could make it to cheer them loudly! They won in three sets over Springfield earning 7 point for the team. All of Southview's points added up to 19 to take home the 3rd place tournament finish with NV having 18. In combination with the regular season 4th place finish, the Cougars came in 3rd overall for the NLL season. What a unexpected result but hey we have some great new coaches to thank.
